Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Timeit ("we", "us", or "our") handles personal information when you visit timeit.ai, use our web application, or interact with related services (collectively, the Services). By using the Services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate.

1. Contact

Questions about privacy: hello@timeit.ai.

2. Information we collect

  • Account and profile. When you create an account, we collect identifiers such as your name, email address, and authentication details processed by our authentication provider (for example, Supabase). If you sign in with Google or another provider, we receive information that provider shares with us according to your settings and their policies.
  • Content you provide. We store content you upload or enter in the app, such as brand profiles, ideas, drafts, schedules, files you attach, and similar materials needed to generate and manage your content.
  • Usage and technical data. We collect logs, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, and similar diagnostic data to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
  • Communications. If you contact us (for example via email or waitlist forms), we keep your message and contact details to respond and follow up.
  • Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment partner (for example Razorpay). We do not store full card numbers on our servers; we may receive limited billing metadata (such as subscription status, transaction references, and billing address elements) needed to provide paid plans.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including AI-assisted content generation and scheduling;
  • Authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms;
  • Process subscriptions and communicate about billing;
  • Analyze usage in aggregate to improve product experience;
  • Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights and safety;
  • Send service-related notices and, where permitted, marketing (you may opt out of marketing where applicable).

4. AI processing

To generate suggestions, drafts, and related outputs, we send portions of your prompts and context to third-party AI model providers (such as Google Gemini and Anthropic). Those providers process data according to their terms and policies. We configure integrations to operate the product; do not submit highly sensitive personal data you are not comfortable having processed by AI systems.

5. Integrations

If you connect optional integrations (for example Google Calendar, Notion, X/Twitter, or LinkedIn), we access only the data and permissions you authorize. You can disconnect integrations from in-app settings or the third party's account controls where available. Third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Cookies and analytics

We and our vendors may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for session management, preferences, security, and analytics (for example Google Tag Manager / analytics tools where enabled). You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work if you disable essential cookies.

7. Sharing of information

We share personal information with:

  • Service providers who host infrastructure, databases, authentication, email delivery, error monitoring (for example Sentry), rate limiting, and other operations on our behalf, subject to contractual protections;
  • AI and content infrastructure providers as needed to perform generation and related features;
  • Payment processors to complete transactions;
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.

We do not sell your personal information as "sale" is commonly understood in privacy laws.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal and legitimate retention needs.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International transfers

We and our subprocessors may process data in India and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) for cross-border transfers.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. To exercise these rights, contact hello@timeit.ai. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

12. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Related documents

Our Terms of Service govern use of the Services and work together with this policy.
