These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the websites, applications, and related services offered by Timeit ("Timeit", "we", "us") at timeit.ai and associated properties (the Services). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the Privacy Policy or elsewhere in these Terms.
1. The Services
Timeit provides tools to help you plan and create multi-platform content, including features that use artificial intelligence. Features may change, and we may add or remove functionality. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@timeit.ai if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Paid plans, fees, and taxes are presented at checkout or on our pricing page. Payments may be processed by third-party providers (for example Razorpay). Subscriptions renew according to the terms shown at purchase until you cancel. Refunds, if any, are described at the point of sale or in separate policies we publish. We may change prices with reasonable notice where required by law.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. To operate the Services, you grant Timeit a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, and create derivative works from your content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Services (including AI-assisted generation you request). You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Violate applicable law or third-party rights;
- Upload malware, probe or test vulnerabilities without authorization, or interfere with the Services;
- Scrape, data-mine, or automate access in a way that burdens our systems or breaches our documentation;
- Use the Services to generate or distribute unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or infringing material;
- Misrepresent AI-generated output as human-created where doing so would deceive in a harmful or unlawful way;
- Resell or sublicense the Services without our written consent.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
6. AI-generated output
Outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding how to use any content before publication. Timeit does not warrant that outputs are original, non-infringing, or fit for a particular purpose. You should not rely on the Services as legal, financial, medical, or professional advice.
7. Third-party services
Integrations (such as calendar, social, or publishing tools) and links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. Their terms and privacy practices apply. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, including software, branding, and documentation, are owned by Timeit or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TIMEIT AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO TIMEIT FOR THE SERVICES IN THAT PERIOD OR (B) ONE THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES (₹1,000), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Timeit against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the Services in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk to security or others, or as required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under local consumer protection law in your country of residence.
14. Changes
We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.
